This portrait in graphite using 2b and 4b pencils was produced as a personal project.   Highlights were brought out by using shaped pieces of eraser and blending was achieved by burnishing with sections of tissue.  I originally intended this image to be only a preliminary drawing but I became increasingly involved in creating a greyscale effect.
