This commission was created in hard and soft pastels on peach textured pastel board.  Details were added with pastel pencils to create the fine lines in the fur and the speckled effect of the eyes.

The background was achieved by blending very soft handmade pastels in a range of greens, browns and purples to create the depths of light and shade.

Finally white soft pastel highlights were added to create dimension.
