Jeannie was a commission requested by a fellow artist who wanted a portrait of his young Labrador in her prime.  His specialist field is in landscape/seascape scenes and he felt that I would be able to produce a pleasing image.  I was fortunate in meeting Jennie prior to the commencement of the piece which greatly assisted me in its production.

The portrait was rendered on bluish grey textured pastel board using a range of soft and hard pastels.  Final details were added by using pastel pencils.
