This portrait was completed on A3 acrylic paper using System 3 acrylics with an orange base colour and painted in an abstract style. The framing was chosen and arranged by the owners.

Sadly, Sonny went missing during June and although her owners have been out daily across the summer searching for her she hasn’t returned home yet. Knowing her owners well I was inspired to paint Sonny’s portrait in the hope it would send her homeward bound and also hoped that her owners would like the portrait and find some comfort in it. Once they had seen it they were very pleased with the portrait and kindly offered to donate to a charity of my choice and asked me if I would like to choose an animal to be sponsored. Dylan the cow at Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary now has an abundance of feed for the winter months!

To complete the story we just need Sonny to return home………….Amazingly Sonny was found many months later and is safely back with her owners. I hope she likes her portrait!
